The Question Game

I've been thinking about doing this for a while now, but it was rlly my BF who convinced me too.

This is called the Question Game. You comment and ask me a question. It can be anything: funny, humorous, racy, serious, embarrassing, whatever. I have to answer it honestly. The catch is that I get to ask you a question, and you have to answer it also. We go back and forth like that until someone gives up or we get tired of playing.

Chicken, chicken stock, some salt, spices, onions, celery, carrots, and random things from the kitchen. Maybe not just from the kitchen.

Why does rot always smell sweet? Unless it's mold then it smells (and tastes) like dirt.

What is your favorite book of all time?

That is... an oddly difficult question. I've never settled on a favorite book that lasted long enough to be called an all-time favorite book. In fact the book I liked the most and might possibly fit that category I liked when I was 4 and thus it is difficult to remember liking it. But I still enjoy the story now even though I have stronger current favorites so I'm going to go with that one.

How is it in fact so hot in the San Francisco Bay Area that it's too hot to sleep? I haven't slept since monday because it's been too hot.

I do not have ice. I had ice cream but I ate it. And it's a short term solution. I have an air conditioner but I am loathe to use it. But then I may be forced to...

I just had my pregnant friend bring her toddler over to the store for me to do readings on him (UGH!!). Why are little kids always throwing up for no reason? It almost made me sick today.

Because the stomachs of young children are a) smaller and b) more robust than anyone wants to acknowledge. Not only do we keep feeding them too much food, it's the wrong food. At least IMHO.

Why do people find small humans cute?

Because sometimes, when confronted with the prospect of soured rotten milk, the stomach goes "bleh".

Whyyyy did my boss think that setting up shop next to a haunted halfway house for insane people was a good idea? Not that the occasional game of cards with random people isn't fun but some of the nutjobs put the worst gamer funk to shame.

Denied admission to the local mental hospital because they are not considered dangerous. The suicide attempts, screaming rages at hallucinations, stabbings, and aimless creepy mutterings are not enough to be considered "dangerous". Insane, yes, but when the local insane asylum is an hour's drive...

Is there an upcoming WoW expansion I don't know about? That was the third person today...

My BF is coming over for dinner, which is not the issue. The issue is that his family is also coming over to meet my family for the first time. Suggestions?

Well there is the "introduce your BF to the grandfathers because your parents are less likely to be asses around their parents" suggestion but it probably has a different meaning outside of my family.

Why is good rabbit so hard to find? And when you do find it it's a freezer burnt little mass at $5 a pound.

Because we do not live in France. In the Saturday markets, they have everything, from huge lovely baskets of home-cured olives to rabbit that was alive not five hours ago. The problem, like the Israeli Dead Sea mud, is the getting-there cost.

Why does Equal hate new programs, or updates for old ones? I mean, I could understand Windoze updates, but she shuts down for Mozilla updates, which I'm sure isn't right . . .

Why is it called "morning sickness" when it strikes hardest at 5pm? I can get up in the morning no problem but around 5pm I feel very very bleh.

Because you ought to be getting more sleep but since you aren't your body says "I'ma shut down anyway" around 5 pm. Or Summat. Is this actual nausea or just a sort of ick feeling?

It's actual "omg I'm gonna HURL" nausea. Of course I also get it on waking up but it's less strong and usually more related to Pet trying to hump me and thus laying most of his weight on my stomach. Once the horny pet is beaten off that usually goes away. But 5pm rushes in for no good reason, jumps up and down on my belly until I'm the definition of miserable, then goes away.

Eventually.

Pet thinks it's from lack of food. I think it's from lack of water. Now if only eating or drinking didn't make me feel worse...

I thought boobs weren't supposed to get big until the 6th month. Why are my boobs so big now?
