Michigan to Columbus. In Ohio. It is not that long a drive, only 4.5-5.5 hours, but we had to pack my car until it was all STUFFED first. Then we headed south to Dayton. Dayton is where friends of the family live - with whom we have been friends since . . . MW was pregnant with me >.> They fed us latkes for lunch and sushi for dinner and also they put my graduation photos on Facebook. I don't even have a Facebook, but they worked around this. Somehow.

Then we drove on to Columbus. My Aunt Naomi moved there, and has this massive old house which will also, on day, be gorgeous. Just now it needs someone to rip the layers of horrible wallpaper off, and also remind the fireplace that it is supposed to hold fire, etc. It will be really nice, though.

Aunt Naomi used to live in SoCal. She brought her dogs and cats and daughter with her. All of them are very confused about this 'snow' stuff. The dogs wear little doggie jackets, and poor little Daisy looks like a pink armadillo. The cats just look at outside like, "Are you crazy? I'm not going out there!" Marci (my cousin) goes shopping for more clothes.

We stayed with them for the night, an after some kind of strange feast-breakfast-thing, we left. So that's the end of this part.

Today, I got my liver ultrasound. For those of you who have never had one, ultrasounds are the least invasive internal test ever; all you do is remove your clothes at the ultrasound area, which for me was my stomach. Then there is this goop that goes on, and then the probe, which is about like one of those three-in-one highlighters pressed edge-up against your skin. It buzzes. You breathe in and out so as to make photo-taking easier, and then you are done and you wipe off the goop and put your clothes back on. And that's it.

I hope I am okay . . .
