Rained Out

See, ragtime_wurm were going to go RenFest today, only we didn't because, like most of the Great Lakes area, we are Wet. The humidity is doing unspeakable things to my hair. So, in order that I should see her at least once every six months, we went to the mall instead.

This is a Mall Anecdote:

Oddly, whenever we go on a mall expedition together, we run into one of her classmates cashiering. She says that it is because her classmates work, but, honestly? So do mine, and we don't keep running into them at the mall*. Anyway. We run into one of her classmates cashiering in a business-casual store for regular-sized people, which rags isn't because rags is tall and skinny.

And the first thing this person says is, "So which one of you are you?

Which makes more sense if you are aware that rags has an identical twin sis. I mean, really identical. To the point that the last time I was at her house, rags went into the basement and twin sis came up and I totally didn't notice it wasn't the same person.

I find it funny that one of my friends actually has to be asked who she is :P

*Of course, my classmates tend to work for corporate America . . .
