Other Inanities

tanarillSo I thought I might let those of you who follow this blog via your friends' page that I am still alive. Much like Chell, in fact. The cake is a lie!!
Other than that, not much is Up. I am sad because the Boy leaves in two weeks for Budapest, and then I will probably not see him until February/March. This makes me Sad.
And in other, totally unrelated news, a friend of mine from high school was in Japan! He took many pictures of shrines and scenery and vending machines and pachinko parlors and such. The best Engrish he saw (of which he took a picture) on the trolley going up the side of a mountain: Please keep hands and face at all times. Also he got to do traditional pottery and flower arranging and such. I am Jealous. I did not go to Japan.
Also, it is hard to make choco chip cookies without choco chips.

Date: 2008-08-11 03:31 pm (UTC)I have a friend who's going to Japan next summer, he's so excited he can barely contain himself even though it's months away. I'd like to go one day, it sounds like a great trip.
