This time to the Proving Grounds, where I worked when I was in Corrosion. Oddly enough, I learned more about the grounds in this one trip than I did working there for three months.

We visited the acoustics labs. They had resonant chambers, which echo, and anechoic chambers, which don't. Shutting me in an anechoic chamber makes me dizzy for no good reason, though, so I stood outside when the guide closed the door.

We visited a lot of other labs too. The hybrid labs, where they had Malivolts. A Malivolt is a Malibu that has been rebuilt as a concept Volt, so they can begin programming. They are fugly mule cars (a mule car is a car that has been partially or completely rebuilt with future-designs) but they provide the right kind of data. The real Volts, I am assured, will look better.

Also, small and mid-size trucks. Not the eighteen-wheel semis, but the slightly smaller four and six-axle moving vans and such. I don't care if they call them small and mid-size, though; large truck is large.

Firstly (I'm relating these in reverse order) was the regular labs. They test cars that are in mule phase all the way to production models. Some of the cars even had car-camo on. And they had these gorgeous slinky little sports cars, which were like sex on wheels. Not that I could afford one or would know what to do with it if I could, but preeeeeeeetty.

The family has gone to see Wall-E, but I am too tired. I'd fall asleep halfway through. So I am here at home instead. Tomorrow, I do some serious boss-confronting.
