I Didn't Go to the Library Today
Feb. 4th, 2007 09:48 pmI wanted to. Oh well.
. . . whipped soundly about the head and shoulders with a wet noodle.
I'm just going to do this up here, and save meself some trouble.
Disclaimer: There are fanworks from the Danny Phantom universe. I do not own Danny Phantom. I am not making any money off of writing these. They are purely for my own, and my friends', amusement.
Title: Last Man on Earth
Rating: G
Warnings: Implied het sex
Being the only male left on the planet, Tucker discovered, did have some drawbacks. For one, while there was very little anyone could say about him being polyamorous, every single female sympathized with every other single female when they complained about him, meaning that he was usually tag-teamed and ragged on by a dozen women at once.
For another, they all went on their periods at the same time.
There was no longer such a thing as running away from gossip. It was all gossip.
And when they had said, “Unless you were the last man on earth,” what they actually meant was, “Not Under Any Circumstances. Ever.”
Title: Kwan the Apprentice
Rating: G
Warnings: None
“Just because you are a witch in training doesn’t mean you can avoid your responsibilities to me,” said Vlad.
Kwan looked up from what he was doing, something small and intricate with various bits of wire a bead, and said, “I apologize, sir. What haven’t I been doing?”
“Oh, nothing as of yet,” Vlad waved a negligent hand. “But you seem to be spending a lot of time with this,” he looked at the scattered bits of wire, bead, and even a few feathers, “whatever it is. What is it?”
“It’s supposed to be a dreamcatcher,” said Kwan. “I need to learn more about myself by dream gazing, but I’m not good enough to do it while asleep yet. I just wanted to see what would happen if I added a little technology . . .” He gestured at the wires, which Vlad now noticed were hooked up to what was, instead of the traditional rock, a microprocessor. “If it works correctly, I’ll be able to download my dreams onto a computer.” He looked up at his employer. “Why? Did you need something?”
“No. Finish your dreamcatcher.” He walked away; he’d come to persuade Kwan to use more technology, but it hardly seemed necessary now.
Kwan was at least as much his apprentice as he was Lancer’s.
Title: Clockwork
Rating: G
Warnings: Implied yaoi; then again, it is AS based
The thing about being the Master of Time was not that he never got to stop working. Or the fact that he wasn’t alone in his head, ever. Or that he knew about the bad things but had no power to change them. Or that he existed before his own birth.
The thing about being the Master of Time was this: he was going to train himself, and hate very moment of doing it. From both sides.
But that was years in the future yet. Right now it was just him, introducing himself to the human he had once been.
“You’re the Master of Time?” he snorted with an ingrained arrogance that he wouldn’t earn for decades. “Yeah, and I’m the King of England.”
“Time out,” he said calmly, and while time locked around him, moved to stand behind himself. It was an odd sensation, to be remembering this as he did it, and not one he particularly liked. Another thing he’d just have to grin and bear. “Time in. What would it take to convince you?”
He–Toki, that is–startled, looking from where he had been to where he was and back. And then . . . “Hypnosis. Or, you’re a ghost right? You can do that thing where there’s more than one of you at once. So that one just went invisible, and you became visible. Easy.”
He sighed. He’d known Toki wouldn’t believe him, but these things had to be done in order. “Time out,” and he picked Toki up and phased him through air gone solid as stone, to hover a mile above Amity Park. “Time in. If I drop you from this height, you won’t just hit the ground. You’ll splatter.”
The short, sharp gulps of air that Toki was taking weren’t audible, but they resonated with every bone in his body. Remembered fear clashed with the awe that was the utter freedom of flight, and lost. “All right. So you have some powers. Mind putting me down now?”
He did, and then went invisible to watch Toki. Toki wasn’t quite running, but he left fast enough. He’d go have a hot shower and spend the next few hours looking for Dash, because after that, he just needed something normal to steady him. So did Clockwork. He went to get Dan.
It was worse for him, because he knew this wasn’t the last time they’d meet like that and wished like anything that it could have been.
And, because I liked this one a lot, I'm Posting it Again:
Title: Meet the Parents

Heat. And friction. And a small, warm, wonderful body pressed against his. Lips. Tongue wrapped around his, hand desperately scrabbling against his back, pulling him closer, and he wanted, oh how he wanted.
Williams could be as big a jerk as he wanted. He didn’t have Toki.
They landed on the bed with Dash laying over Toki and Toki running his hands up and down Dash in silent encouragement. By the time he broke off the kiss, Toki was whimpering slightly in need and Dash was practically growling.
Which was when the lights switched on and his mother walked into the room saying, “Dash, dear, I’ve had a long day at work and–oh!” An infinite moment, while he wondered how he was supposed to explain Toki to his mother–and his father, she’d tell him–and he felt Toki shift against him just enough for him to know that the smaller boy was going to bolt at the earliest opportunity, and then screw it.
It had taken him weeks to realize that this was who he was and what he wanted, for him to reach this silent accord with Toki. Months for the two of them to get used to each other, to know exactly how far they could push before give and take would break. He wasn’t going to give it up. Not for his mother, not for his father. Not for anybody.
He swallowed. Hands that at one time he would’ve denied ownership reached up and held Toki fast, reassuring, and he sat up. Swallowed. “Mom. This is Toki.”
The look on Toki’s face, not quite belief and outright joy mixed together, was worth it.
The internet? Needs to stop randomly kicking me off. That is all.
