Dream, Dream, Ficbit, Dream

This came to me in a dream. The dream was actually two dreams. The first part involved Vash the Stampede flying a dirigible, along with the shot smart kid from outlaw tar and someone who was busty and blond and use these assets to distract people from the fucking huge knife she carried. Oh, and someone who was a lot like the speed character from sCRYed, but with less red hair and more determination. Anyway, it was post apocalyptic and shit, and when Vash's father (?) finally stopped chasing them and set down near Dead Town and the archelogical dig, the second part began.
The plot was simple: guy, and me, and little girl were trapped in a Prince-of-Persia style palace that was both underground and flooding. We had to get out before we suffocated. This was made complicated by the fact that both I and the little girl were being possessed, me by Esther (the Queen) and the little girl by Vashti (also the Queen, the one the king jilted for Esther) and the little girl/Vashti kept trying to get us all killed. I'm not sure why. I get the impression it would strengthen the actual ghost. But I (as Esther) and random archaeologist and Vashti-girl managed to get out as the palace collapsed into a huge watery sinkhole. Once out, Vashti-girl depossessed and apparently became immune to possession. This was important, because she and I and archaeologist went into business as Exorcists.
The next sequence was all about our adventures in an old palace, rescuing a little girl and her cousin who apparently got possessed by a pair of murderous princesses, and the old Road Without [word that I can't quite remember but means "survivors unchanged"]. I won't bore you with this part, because while it was quite interesting it also involved a lot of dream-geometry and would make no sense if I tried to explain, for example, the Cellar.
While myself and archaeologist who looked far too similar to James the Korean were doing this, unpossesable girl was out killing snakes. The snakes were as big around as she was a quite a bit longer. The magical field of the time sink made them big, powerful, and malicious.
You have to have a good sense of history to do this job.
You also have to have good reflexes, an extensive knowledge of how to deal with thousand-year-dead kings, and be able to dispel ghosts without thinking about it.
The three of us were lucky-we survived learning these skills. Well, unless you count Citron's case. She didn't so much survive as blast through it. She's never quite told us what happened to Vashti. I'm nearly positive the bitch is still riding in her head, but as long as Citron remains our Citron when we need her to be, I don't care what her relationship with her personal Possession is.
As far as we can tell, Bula not only never was possessed, he can't be. And after all the times we've met up with ghosts who would love to possess a man like Bula but couldn't, we're pretty sure.
And myself? Well, I retain the first ghost that ever possessed me-we call them Possessions, which i about as inaccurate as it gets-but she's completely and utterly harmless unless she's unleashing hell. In other word, she's the best nonliving ally we have, and having her all the time is possibly the best thing that ever happened to us. We certainly would never have survived that first time without her.
Who are we? They call us a lot of things: exorcists, banishers, consorters-with-evil. We call ourselves Collapsers, because we collapse time sinks and bury the bones of time.
We also know, although it is never outright spoken, that every Collapser out there speaks of our team with awe, and when there's a case that they don't dream of taking on, they call us. They call us the best.
You have to have played the Jak and Daxter games to get this. Jak and Daxter went time traveling. They also went traveling through other gameworlds, meeting in the process Falco, Crash Bandicoot, Sly Fox, and an old Mii who helped them move in. There was stuff about Damas volunteering to take them to the Jak and Daxter universe because someone had to do it and he didn't mind dying to save a lot of people. There was stuff about the Very Weird Way that Ottsels Reproduce. There was stuff about Jak, Daxter, and I tag teaming against various other game heros. There was stuff about green hair and purple shirts. It's a bit of a blur, but a good one.

Yeah, but I'm not quite sure what to do with it. It's Sang Me in a Dream, and these are homeless ideas. Maybe a short story?
