So, I didn't get any Huge Project wif Teeth done tonight, but I caught up on all my other work. Yay.

Sorry if I alarmed anyone with my last post. To make it up, I'll squick you: When my body gets off the hormones, it goes 'oh' and then gets on with a period. When it gets back on the hormones, it goes OMGWTFBBQ?!!? and bleeds everywhere. I shall inform my gynecologist when next I see her.

And that is why I will never take the estrogen based hormones again. Currently I'm on a progesterone one, which isn't as effective as a birth control pill, but then that's not what I'm taking it for.

But . . . on the one hand, the reason I stated taking them is to control my periods (read: make sure I have one more than once every seven months). On the other, I'm likely to want the BC soonish.

[curious] Is it the estrogen, then?

Often.

It can also be a buildup of unshed lining, which is why some women end up having a D&C.

Definitely a reason to talk to your gynny, so they can check and make sure there's nothing else going on.
