I have an embarrassing question to ask Lacha, which means that I'll ask it in chat and we'll all have a good laugh over the TMI.
Today is the twenty-fourth day of the Omer, which is three weeks and three days into the Omer.
I'm not sure. I need to get my brain in gear and get rid of this cold. Therefore, if I am up past midnight, yell at me for it!
Title: Vibrate
Fandoms: If you don't know, you haven't been paying attention. And I still get no monies for this, oh woe is me.
Rating: G
Warnings: None, which surprises me.
She was not afraid of timekeepers, ever, and very rarely found herself respecting them either. But she respected Clockwork, and caught herself being afraid of how he was going to react too this.
Don’t be stupid, said Eska, he’s a timekeeper. If he doesn’t already know he wants to, and even bad news is better than no news at all.
The angel in her mind was screaming at her for not having noticed earlier. She primly told the bitch to shut the Heaven up, thanks, since she hadn’t noticed it either.
The demon in her heart said nothing. It was enough.
So she squared her shoulders and reached out tentatively to find where he was, before catching herself and asking the demon in her heart to find him instead. Then she went and knocked on the door.
“Clockwork?”
“Come in.” He actually had a very pleasant voice, now that she stopped to think about it. Then she caught herself avoiding the issue again and forced her mind back on track.
“Clockwork, I’m part of a resonance.” It emerged a great deal smaller than she had meant it to, but was an accurate picture of her feelings on the subject.
“I know,” said Clockwork, neutrally.
“You–know?”
“You will find that even if you can’t see the shark, you can tell it’s there by the way the water and fish move. There have been vibrations, of the sort that only a very powerful resonance, a Walker in resonance, could cause.”
Heres Tanarill blinked, and then blinked again. “Clockwork,” she asked eventually, “why aren’t you Senior for this entire worldset?”
“I like it here.”
