So, finals finished yesterday. Here's the breakdown, for anyone interested:
Comm - no final, just the mini-thesis and presentation, done last Thursday for a total of 288/300. Not bad.
Math - It was a take-home final, and we had a week to do it, so do it we did. By 'we' I mean all three classes that were made to suffer Professor McFailpants. I then went back to my apartment and wrote a scathing review for his ability as a professor. I awarded myself extra points for correct use of the word 'brobdingnagian,' which sadly will not help my grade.
IME211 - Surprisingly harder than I had thought. Ah well. Still not a hard final.
OChem - Surprisingly easier than I had thought, which unfortunately still meant im-funcking-possible. But at least it wasn't the ACS exam, which I what were told we were getting. I'm a big fan of partial credit, especially in classes in which I know jack.
Last night was the 'Finals are Done' party, which I went to in the capacity of sober designate. I got hit on. Relentlessly. It was kind of creepy.
I wasn't actually going to go home until tomorrow, but they kicked us out of the dorms, so I packed and left. I had to stop at a tire place so they would fix the flat I picked up from a rather vicious piece of metal.
Now I wait for my grades, and hope I pass okay. Remind me again why I went into chemistry?
