Meat!

I'm not a vegetarian. I do, however, keep Kosher. The nearest Kosher butcher, from Santa Barbara, is two hours away. For this reason, I do not often get meat while at school.

But the Hillel House had a barbecue today. There were hot dogs and Israeli salad, plus hamentaschens for dessert. I'm not sure why, it is the wrong season, but there you go. So I ate meat and hamentaschens and all is good.

Oh, that does suck! I know you can't eat hot dogs every day, but you can't get Hebrew National where you are?

The issure is not in procuring Kosher hot dogs, it is in dishes. I did not bring any meat pots or pans. How can I cook meat without a plate oon which to microwave it, at the very least?

Oo. That does change the parameters a bit, doesn't it. That must suck pretty hard, having to eat out all the time. :( Er, did you plan on that when you moved, or did it just shake out that way?
