Oh how I missed you!

Hello all, I'm not dead. The internets died on Friday. First MW talked to Tech Support. Then we got a new router. Then we got a guy in who actually fixed it. In the process we learned that the old router was functioning perfectly, except for not informing us that a Thing had gone wrong. In the end, it turned out that a connection had somehow worked itself loose. I say somehow because it lives in a hole in the back wall of a closet, and isn't exactly a moving part, so self-working-looseness is a bit weird . . .

Anyway, I have not blown anything up lately.

On Monday I made blackened fish, yesterday Panda and I bought box-food Indian, and today we went out for sushi. Tony Roll: so good.

Now I am clinging to my internets. Never leave me again, internets!

It's kinda scary how prevalent the internet is in everyday life -for those who have it available at their home/work-place, I mean).

Our power went out repeatedly, and I had to remind myself nearly every half-hour that, no, I could not go check that website out, and, no, I could not go read that thing I found the other day right now.

But like 5 hours in I realized that, hey, this is more peaceful and less frantic. I could see myself being happy like this. Perhaps I don't really need TV's and computers, and, yeah, the internet is sadly necessary for many school and work-related things, but surely a good library and my phone should suffic--oh wait, the power is back, internet timez!!! :D

Wow, I got longwinded there, sorry.

I'm glad your internet is back now. :)

I have no idea how things can come apart inside something you don't move ever. Did an ant get lost and winded up inside and jumped very hard on a cable or...? Or a little bit of dust got inside and decided to have a party and next thing it knows it broke something but if it leaves quickly enough no one will ever know?!

Food! Delicious food! Now I'm hungry.

No problem with long-winded, but I do have a small request. If you're going to reply twice to the same entry, please reply to yourself for the second comment rather than starting a new thread. My obsessive-brain is being obsessive.

So am I!

I have no idea. It is a mystery to all. I just hope it does not happen again :/

Actually, I'm kind of obsessive with comments too. I often don't know if I should delete them and try to write another one quickly, and oh the typos... D:

I want an edit button for basic accounts. It would solve all my problems! :D

Should I delete the first one to make everything neater? And, um, the one parenting this?

Nono, leave them! Just for the future, please use a single thread :D
