1. I decided to replay Minish Cap. The game was found without too much trouble, but now I can't locate my GBA recharger. Which is sad. JJ laughed at me. So this is me, asking any of y'all where you think a GBA charger would be hiding . . .

2. Passover cleaning. Well, spring cleaning really, only we are religiously commanded to do this and therefore can't get out of it by 'forgetting.' The rule is that there cannot be even a crumb of leavened bread in the house. And this is not merely a ridonkulously stringent standard; it is a way of life for five weeks a year.

See, around about Purim, MW stops buying food. Well, I mean, she buys milk and fresh fruits and vegetables and yogurt kind of things, but not bread/cereal or canned goods. The idea is to use up all the food we own, mostly be eating it. So we are left with an ever-diminishing menu of canned foods and stuff that has been in the freezer too long.

In addition, we spend Sundays cleaning. So far we have done upstairs, the basement, and half of the ground floor. There are some rooms, like the kitchen, that can't be cleaned until the day before Passover by virtue of the fact that we needs foods to live.

3. JJ went to a Kinas this weekend. (It rhymes with penis.) A Kinas is a regional conference for Jewish youth, full of belting out prayers at the top of your lungs while standing on your chair, and meeting people, and stuff. He came home hoarse, but happy. I drove out to Ann Arbor to get him.

Work ends on Tuesday! Yaaaaay!
