And Other Things Ending in -odulus
Nov. 2nd, 2010 07:40 amFor Halloween, we did indeed make Black Velvet Cupcakes with orange cream cheese icing, to get into the spirit of things. Instead of watching Hocus Pocus, we watched Beetlejuice and Coraline. And a good time was had by all.
Then today I found that I'd pretty much failed my test. I would not be so annoyed except that he had never taught at least one of the questions, and taught another of them wrong. I was able to go back and find the exact point in his e-lecture where it was taught wrong, at least, so perhaps I will get those points back. Which would be nice, since that would bring me up to the class average. I hate being average, but it is not a fail at least.
This made my day Miserable, though. MISERABLE. I was bitchy all day and angry at myself and took it out on Panda and MW, who certainly deserve some anger for being naggy like none others, but not that anger. I am amazed they put up with me, honestly. I love them so much.
Tomorrow I have two hour long drives: one so I can get to my voting booth, and one so I can get back. I think the state needs to modernize so you can go to any polling location and present a valid ID and it will be electronically passed through the Intarwebz so that all places know you have voted and can't again. And then everyone would be able to go to the place of voting most convenient to them. Then again, I also think voting should be a week-long affair, so that everyone has a chance to do so without utterly screwing their schedule; and we have seen how well the government takes suggestions that mean more people would vote, gasp.
Meh. I'll tell you about the martial arts class tomorrow.
