Cooking

In my family, Saturday night is oven pizza night. That, and frozen veggies, are pretty much the only heat-and-it's-ready-to-eat food we eat. Everything else has to be cooked or otherwise assembled into a meal.

I cook Mondays. For the last year or so, I have been working on curries, but JJ continues to complain enough that I have begun branching out into Greek cuisine.

This week, I cooked Tuesday because I needed to see the Boy on Monday. I tried making Dolmates, also known as stuffed grape leaves. This involved lamb and onions and rice and grape leaves. The recipe said I put the rice in raw and then cook the whole thing by simmering, but the rice didn't really cook, so it crunched.

Despite this, however, Panda said it had good flavor and that I should do it again. And it was also very easy, so that's another recipe on the list of approved recipes, sans raw rice. What should I cook next week? Suggestions welcome!
