tanarill: (Bitchin')
Laser Quest. It is great fun, especially when played head-to-head with one's SO. However, it did involve a lot of running, climbing, ducking, and moving my ass in ways I generally don't. Thus, my thighs complain. Loudly. Not that I'm unhappy.

In addition, my brother now owns a Wii. Saginaw-Leslie, the one who married my mother's cousin and gave me two free RenFaire tickets, bought it from a store in Saginaw that the intarwebz said still had some. When he came down for Thanksgiving, he brought it. JJ repaid him, and thus now has a Wii. He was convinced that we were going to go get things like Zelda and extra wiimotes and such on Friday. I told him it would be a cold day in Hell before I tried shopping on Black Friday. So that didn't happen.

(A side note. My brother is called JJ because those are his initials, not because it sounds cool. He used to call me "See," until I stopped responding unless he called me by my actual name.)

After Laser Quest, we collected JJ and went off to BF's house, where the Zelda sand temple was played. I won. I also figured out how to use this one massively overpowered attack, so's all good. Various relatives are mobbing him today, seeing as how they haven't seen him in five weeks. Makes me sad, but family, it is Important.

Now JJ is playing Wii Sports, like he has been for the last forty-eight hours. Apparently, it is making his muscles hurt too. This can only be a good thing. Maybe later I'll wrastle away the wiimote and induce extra lactic acid. But probably not.

Naptime!
