Non-marrow Arm Pokes
Aug. 20th, 2007 11:37 amSo, I got to sleep in today.
To 8.00 AM. All though this is not as bad as the statement "I got to sleep in to 6.30" this is still a horrible statement. 8.00 is a reasonable time for becoming awake. No one should ever be able to utter the statement "I slept in to 8.00."
Then I spent an hour doing various Things, including a breakfast which did not contain any actual eggs, and instead involved eggbeaters. Even though eggbeaters do not count as food, this was still a much better breakfast that a bowl of milk and cereal without the milk, which is what I have been breakfasting on.
I got to wake my brother up. This is always a fun thing to do, as it involves me stealing the blankets, walking five feet from the bed, and leaving them there. He wakes up about four minutes later, right about the time when I was asking MW how to get to the doctors'. This is my gynecologist, not my regular doctor, which is why I do not know.
Anyway, it was raining. Apparently sky-wet is an excuse for most of the people on the road to have forgotten how to drive, which is why it took me more than fifteen minutes to get there.
The wait in the office was a grand total of twelve minutes. Ten of these happened after I got my shot, and were to make sure that I'm not going to fall over on the ground having a seizure and frothing at the mouth. Then I left.
Now I'm 2/3 of the way done being HPV vaccinated. Huzzah!
