I Did Not go to the Zoo Today

Which is a bummer, because the Hillel House on campus paid for first-years (which I totally count as, being a first year grad student! c.c) to go to the zoo. But instead, I had to go to the lab. My pI walked in when I was almost done, which we very nearly never does on Sundays, and was all, "Why are you here? O.o" Most of the lab, if they are going to work weekends, do so on Saturday, so I can see his confusion, but . . .

I wanted to Zoo!
