I'm not sure. That picture doesn't have anything in it for scale, but the burl was no more than six feet across. It'd be a very small treehouse. However, down at ground level, they all seemed to have these little hollows directly under the main trunk, pretty decently sized "rooms." If you added a door to keep out wind and a floor to keep out the general drippiness and maybe a bush to conceal the entrance, those would make a pretty cool hidey-home.
We didn't, actually. I had one of the sheep cheeses, because while cow is common and even goat is found in many stores, sheep cheeses are hard to find. The rest of the family had soups or salads. It was all delicious, anyway XD
